The Westmoore Alumni Association will induct 4 individuals into its Hall of Honor, March 27.  Please make your reservations and buy tickets now as we honor these individuals and support current WHS students.

Honorees include:
Ben Montgomery, Class of 1996
Danny Bowien and Valerie Gutierrez Littlejohn, both from Class of 2000
Judy Clowdus, WHS Educator, 1988-2013

Join the Westmoore Alumni Association March 28 as we recognize 2 graduates and 1 former faculty members as the 2013 Hall of Honor inductees.

Honorees include Chris Cotner, 1992; Rachel Odom, 1994; and former Westmoore counselor Diane Dragg.

Cotner serves as executive director of Water 4,  an Oklahoma City-based non-profit organization with the mission to not only provide water to at-risk, impoverished areas but also, to teach and provide employment opportunities through their inexpensive pumps and drilling methods.

Odom, an Oklahoma City entrepreneur, has made her mark as a homebuilder and owner of several south Oklahoma City businesses. She currently operates Rosebrook Vineyards, a special event venue boasting 160-acre commercial tree farm with 10 acres of vineyards.

Dragg retired from Westmoore in 2012 after serving as counselor since the school opened its doors in 1988.

Cost to attend the event is $20 for the general public and $10 for current faculty and students. Tax-deductible donations to attend the event benefit current WHS students.

Westmoore High School 25th Anniversary

Twenty five years ago the first Jaguars walked the halls of our alma mater. To celebrate, the Westmoore Alumni Association would like you to “Stand Up For Westmoore High” by making a contribution to provide educational opportunities for current and future students.

Funds raised will create a permanent endowment fund to provide scholarships to Westmoore High School graduating seniors pursuing a college education. Over the past four years, the Westmoore Alumni Association has awarded $5,250 via 7 scholarships to our fellow Jaguars.

With your help, we want to build a $20,000 endowment which will fund an annual $1,000 cash award for as long as Westmoore is a school. With your help we can make this goal.

3 Speech & Debate Students Heading to Nationals

Three of Westmoore's own Speech and Debate students are heading to The Stars Fell on Alabama Nationals in Birmingham, Alabama, June 14-19, 2009.

Brett Young, Speech and Debate teacher, has asked Westmoore Alumni to help the students to get to Alabama by helping to pay their hotel costs.
