Three of Westmoore's own Speech and Debate students are heading to The Stars Fell on Alabama Nationals in Birmingham, Alabama, June 14-19, 2009.
Brett Young, Speech and Debate teacher, has asked Westmoore Alumni to help the students to get to Alabama by helping to pay their hotel costs.

The Westmoore Alumni Association will be holding its first-ever Alumni Hall of Honor Banquet the evening of March 28 at WHS. Proceeds from this event will fund scholarships for graduating Westmoore seniors.
This year's honorees are:
Darren Nance (Class of 1989)
Field Director, Carter Center’s International Election Observation Mission
Cher Lucewicz Golding (Class of 1991)
Executive Director for Harn Homestead
Mr. Mike Adkins (WHS Teacher 1988-2000)
Director of Education for the Oklahoma History Museum
